season ,
After a long winter, some portions of the planet still cling stubbornly to the frigid temperatures and wet snow. In most others, however, new flowers begin to bud and the smell of rain undercuts the scent of freshly cut grass. Watch out for spontaneous rain showers and possessive honey bees.

    iii. races

Humans, though they be less than they once were in some respects and more than they were in others, are the general inhabitants of Sheol. Already once deceased, these humans have returned to their strongest and most vital physical point; many are younger and more spry than they were when they died. Along this journey, most, if not all, have lost all but a few precious memories. Those that remain are hazy and disconnected at best. What’s more, these poor souls are unaware of their deaths save that they haunt their dreams. Not much else changed of their physical selves save for their reversion to better days, human inhabitants are relatively unassuming and most lack other than the benefits of Sheol’s delayed time continuum which keeps them young beyond their already expired years. Because they are the children of the Earth, humans are as well the only race to possess the inborn capability to wield an element. There are those, however, who by some fortune of luck have acquired certain special gifts. Distributed purely on the whim of fate, some believe these abilities to be a sign of extraordinarily good karma upon dying, but there are those with pre-established negative karma who have also received such boons. Of course, for everything there is an equal and opposite reaction; these abilities more often than not come with such debilitating downsides that one might as well be cursed as gifted.

Such abilities are not the only things offered to Sheol’s citizens by fate. Regardless of their past, as they arrive in Sheol with little to no real memories remaining of their living life, human citizens find themselves thrust into either the upper caste Wisterians or the lower caste Rozens. Varied as their pasts and their means of death, however, these frail beings are by no means condemned to their roles cast by fate, or so they'd like to think. Whether they fight or not is up to them, but it is by human nature that we have the will to fight at all.

    ■ Deimos / DAY-mohss (singular, Deimon / DAY-mohn)
Deimos, the antithesis of the Malakihm, are such citizens of Sheol as to be considered “demons,” either born naturally or created from a severe accumulation of negative karma*. Where Malakihm detest humans as much as they do the Deimos, these demons have a relative “love” for their food and salary, fascinated by the actions of humans and delighted by their successes and failures. Some even, choose rather than to devour a human’s soul upon tainting it with so much karma, to instead draw that human under their wing and create a subordinate demon until that fledgling is old enough to stand on its own. All Deimos, no matter their disposition or creation, however, are bound to their employment at Hell INC., just as all Malakihm are bound to the opposing Sanct INC. Beautiful and as deadly as the angels, Deimos too hide their true forms—whether they possess wings, tails, horns, or otherwise—from the humans they cherish, typically in an attempt to confuse them on the basis of a Malakihm’s intrinsic goodness or to better understand their playthings. Most are generally malicious and deceptive, even in their twisted love for humanity, a characteristic exemplified in their ability to poison holy beings. Like Malakihm, they too possess unrivaled strength and speed but are shut out from the benefits of elemental control and the abilities which their precious humans might hold.

    * Please Note: Deimos may be created in the same way as a Malakihm, approved before their creation by having two Administrators clear the appeal (thus them being a First Generation Immortal). As a Second Generation Immortal, one Administrator, the deimon that is hexing the human, and the human must all clear the appeal to proceed with anything in-character. Supernaturals are sterile beings, so procreation is not possible.

    ■ Malakihm / Ma-la-KIHM (singular, Malakh / Ma-LAHK)
The Malakihm are denizens of Sheol who are, either died and returned with extraordinarily good karma so as to allow them to be transformed into or born naturally as*, for all intents and purposes, “angels”. Employed by Sanct. INC, the Malakihm who inhabit Sheol are careful not to let their presence be known to the humans and merely attempt to encourage the once-mortals to indulge in admirable acts for goodness’ sake. While some Malakihm possess the typical, lush wings of an angel and immortal, beautiful looks, they take care to hide these and may take the guise of either a student or a citizen. Unlike their demonic counterparts, Malakihm do not care for their payment or reward for saving human souls but neither do they care much about the humans they profess to protect—a sort of jealousy on their part in regards to the favor their Father imparts to such imperfect creatures. On the note of their unholy adversaries, Malakihm, though they look down upon the Deimos, take little offensive action unless first provoked, and have under their control the inborn ability to purify such unholy creatures. They also possess a relatively unnatural strength and speed which surpasses that of humans, even with their increased vitality. However, not being born of earth, they lack the elemental control that is gifted to humans.

    * Please Note: Malakihm may be created in the same way as a Deimon, approved before their creation by having two Administrators clear the appeal (thus them being a First Generation Immortal). As a Second Generation Immortal, one Administrator, the malakh that is blessing the human, and the human must all clear the appeal to proceed with anything in-character. Supernaturals are sterile beings, so procreation is not possible.
